OVERVIEW
We are committed to equity and diversity. We especially welcome interest from members of gender minority groups, racialized persons, Indigenous Peoples, first generation university students, and others who may contribute to further diversity of ideas.
Undergraduate students may get involved in the lab through awards (i.e., Psychology Research Experience Award, Undergraduate Research Experience Award), as a volunteer or paid research assistant, and as an honors thesis student. Honors and award students typically work on projects related to ongoing research with the lab.
Students can get a sense of recent and current projects by reviewing this website, laboratory publications, or getting in touch.
Graduate students take on projects that are related to Dr. Starzyk’s research interests (intergroup relations [reconciliation and anti-racism], social justice [collective action], psychometrics [measure development], and personality [predictors of collective action]). As they acquire more expertise, students also take on projects on a broader range of topics.
