POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS

Dr. Starzyk is happy to collaborate with students on postdoctoral applications. There are many sources for funding.

For example, one source of funding is a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Postdoctoral Fellowship. This competition is limited to Canadian applicants.

Very competitive students may also apply for a Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship. Non-Canadian students may apply for this.

Some topics associated with the Canadian Reconciliation Barometer would also be a good fit to a Health Systems Impact Fellowship. A previous student from the lab was ranked 2/80 in this competition.

As well, funding may be possible through a MITACS Accelerate Industrial Postdoc or Elevate Postdoc. Previously, Dr. Katelin Neufeld held one such Industrial Internship/Postdoctoral Fellowship in collaboration with Probe Research Inc. This postdoc would have expertise in quantitative analysis (factor analysis, structural equation modeling, growth curve modelling), psychometrics, and public polling, as well as understand how to work with Indigenous Peoples in a good way.

Finally, over the next year, Dr. Starzyk may also acquire funding for a postdoctoral scholar.

Note. This is not a comprehensive list.
